About Us

Colonial Crafts of Connecticut was started by two friends who were looking for ways to connect people and share knowledge about Spoon and Bowl Carving, Green Woodworking, Blacksmithing, Broom Making, Basket Making and other pre-industrial crafts.  Our goal is to educate people on the traditional crafts of New England by being a resource for museums, historical societies and cultural events throughout New England. We also want to foster a community of craft enthusiasts through monthly meetups and our educational workshops.
